42RLE Problems (3.8L V6, 2007 – 2011)

Why does my 2.8 CRD JK use the NAG1 and not the 42RLE? Because the 42RLE was rated below the CRD’s torque output. Chrysler always paired the 2.8 CRD with the NAG1 from launch — the diesel needs the higher-torque box. Anyone telling you a 42RLE will fit your CRD is wrong 5.
